One is mild and the other medium aggressiveness (choose your options from the pull down menu next to price). The mild base plate is thicker one with the countersink. The medium base plate has the cut out in the center allowing for less blade curvature. Both come with free nylon washer to protect your bottom plate. These have no branding on the razor or box to keep cost to a minimum, but they are made by DiShi in China.
